Denzel Hayes Washington Jr. was born on December 28, 1954 in Mount Vernon, New York. He is a famous actor. He is the second of three children born to a beautician mother and minister father. After Denzel graduated from high school, he attended Fordham University. His most famous appearances in television shows and movies include "American Gangster", "Training Day", "Man on Fire", "Inside Man", and "Safe House." Washington planned on becoming a journalist, but he decided to pursue a career in acting after appearing in student drama productions.
