D.L. Hughley's Life

Darryl Lynn Hughley was born on March 6, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. He is the second of four children. D.L. grew up in Los Angeles' South Central where he became a member of the Bloods group after he got kicked out of high school. One of Hughley's cousins was shot to death, and afterwards he quit the Bloods gang. After years of club dates, he was chosen by BET as the first host of the "Comic View." On February 26, 2013, D.L. Hughley was chosen to be on the sixteenth season of "Dancing With the Stars." His professional dance partner was Cheryl Burke. On the fifth week of the competition, the couples that were in the bottom two were D.L. Hughley and Cheryl Burke, along with Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold. Unfortunately, Victor and Lindsay survived, and D.L. and Cheryl were eliminated. He is alive and currently 50 years old.
