Valentin Aleksandrovich Chmerkovskiy was born on March 24, 1986 in Odessa, Ukraine. He is the younger brother of Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Val started dancing on "Dancing with the Stars" on September 19, 2011. That was the premiere date of the thirteenth season. He was partnered with Elisabetta Canalis. They were eliminated second, landing in eleventh place. In Season 14, he was partnered with Sherri Shepherd. They were eliminated third, landing in tenth place.
