Thomas Cruise Mapother IV was born on July 3, 1962 in Syracuse, New York. He is the older cousin of William Mapother, Katherine Mapother, and Amy Mapother. Tom suffered from dyslexia. Cruise earned his pilot's license in 1994 in Toronto. He was chosen as the forty-first sexiest star in film history by Empire Magazine. Tom was married to Mimi Rogers for less than three years. Then he married Nicole Kidman in 1990 and they divorced in 2001. In 2006, he married Katie Holmes and they divorced in 2012. When Cruise married Mimi Rogers, Emilio Estevez was his best man. He is alive and currently fifty-one years old.
