Neil Patrick Harris was born on June 15, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is best known for playing Barney Stinson in "How I Met Your Mother." His parents are Ron Harris and Sheila Harris née Scott. Neil has hosted the Tony Awards in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013. They were on Broadway. Harris was named one of the 100 Most Influential People of 2010. He is gay, and he's been dating David Burtka since 2004. David is a former actor and he is now a chef. Burtka made an appearance on "How I Met Your Mother" only because he had a crush on Neil. David is now Harris' fiancé. Neil voiced Steve in "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." Harris is alive and currently forty years of age.
