Dean Cain's Life

Dean George Tanaka was born on July 31, 1966 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. His parents are Sharon Thomas and Roger Tanaka. Dean is of French-Canadian, Irish, Welsh, and Japanese descent. Cain is widely known for playing Clark Kent/Superman in "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." Among his classmates were Chad Lowe, Rob Lowe, and Charlie Sheen. Dean excelled in sports attending Santa Monica High School. Immediately after Cain graduated, he signed with the Buffalo Bills, a NFL team. But after a knee injury during training camp, Dean's football career was over. In 1997, he became engaged to Mindy McCready, but then they broke up the following year. Cain is alive and 47 years old.
